Tushar and Sharon met on the dating app Coffee Meets Bagel in April 2019. He is a San Francisco native residing in the Bay Area while she is a Modesto native residing in the Central Valley. The middle point between them is Livermore, CA. where they went on their first date, second date and many dates thereafter. Over the next year, they shared wonderful moments and experiences together. They fell in love and a laid a solid foundation for their relationship. They both agree, marriage seemed inevitable. This foundation helped develop the type of bond that was ready to be tested in unfathomable ways. The ultimate test unexpectedly came when the pandemic began in March 2020. While it wasn’t easy and they faced challenges they never thought they would face, their love conquered all. They got engaged on March 19^th, 2021, and are getting married on June 11^th, 2022.

The journey to finding Sharon was a long winding road that was well worth the wait. Anyone who dates these days can attest to just how enjoyable and terribly frustrating the entire process can be. However, if it wasn’t for that roller coaster ride and all the lessons learned along the way, falling in love with her wouldn’t have been as easy as it was. It of course helps that she’s beautiful inside and out and possesses an endless list of desirable traits that make her the single most amazing woman I’ve ever met.

I’m excited our next step is becoming Mr. & Mrs. and I can’t wait for the remainder of our journey to unfold. It will be ripe with happiness and joyous moments as well as challenges that we’ll have to tackle. Life can throw whatever it wants at me now, so long as she’s by my side. We’re ecstatic about commemorating what will be one the greatest days of our life surrounded by those we love!

He was my bagel. In an age of endless swiping and apps, I found the right one for me. A few short weeks later we were on our first date on Cinco de Mayo, fitting if you know us! That first date kicked off a relationship that is the best and most fulfilling I’ve known. Along with gaining a partner and friend, I now have sports teams that I’m ‘loyal’ to. Soon after, we fell in love.

After navigating all the challenges of a pandemic, Tushar proposed to me on the beach during my birthday trip in Santa Barbara, California. As swept away as I was by all the careful thought and planning, it was difficult to take it all in. I could hardly let him finish his speech before I was saying yes! Yes, to marrying the love of my life—my bagel. We are so excited to have all our family and friends there to celebrate our wedding day with us!
